Until I found this little beauty, I did not know what a scented orchid could smell like. I could barely bring myself to step away.

On the other side of the spectrum of colors my camera hates, reds and bright pinks are prime players. These kalanchoe are actually a much darker pink than they appear here, but the same forces that made my violet asters look ultramarine were also at work here. Once again, I like the result anyway, and have kept it.
